There are a few types of ways to silkscreen.
the first link is the cheapest way to screen but not as nice finish
second link is the full version of silk screening with emulsion
third link is how long to expose the screen after emulsion.

I really really URGENTLY need your pictures, you can use photoshop and all the funny patterns and faded pictures. BECAUSE we are using emulsion.
I weighed the pros and cons, and using the emulsion is only difficult in the exposure but all in all it can LOOK best that cutting cannot do because of the intricate lines. here are some examples.
